SLW - Studio and Portrait Lighting Workshop (3 hours)

If you realize how unattractive your portrait images look when shot with on-camera flash, and want to add mood and dimensionality to your subjects, this course is for you. Jonathan will demonstrate the benefits of off-camera lighting and how to get professional looking results on a budget . You will learn the simple formulas to create dramatic and attractive light, with inexpensive continuous studio lights and reflectors, using easy to undertand set-ups.  Do's and dont's of posing technique will also be covered and demonstrations will be followed by a hands-on shooting session with a studio model. Concepts taught will be supported by technical hand-outs for future reference.
Bring your DSLR camera with a charged battery.

Prerequisite: Some knowledge of operating your camera in aperture priority or manual mode
